On Nov 4, 2011 Washington Township Rec Center performed the ground breaking for Nature Sounds, one of the five play areas in the Butterfly Playground - Countryside Park. This play area will feature a space that allows for creative play using performance and music. An outdoor stage and outdoor instruments will allow visitors to create a wide range of performances. Colorful notes will be incorporated into the accessible surface and will be surrounded with boulders for additional seating. This play area will also serve the educational goal of children expanding their creative talents through acting and music. To view the layout of this play area click at the image below:
